COAGULATION FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT

PURPOSE: Coagulant for wastewater treatment is provided to prevent beads from being functioned as pollutants for a membrane filtering process by increasing floc and easily separating the floc. CONSTITUTION: Coagulant for wastewater treatment includes beads with positive charges and negative charges. Positive charged coagulant or negative charged coagulant absorbed on the surfaces of the beads is further included in the coagulant. The beads are one or more selected from silica beads, organic particles with carboxylic group and amino group, zeolite, and polymeric materials. The beads are pre-treated based on an acidic solution or a basic solution in order to negative or positive charge the surfaces of the beads. The sizes of the beads are between 20um and 1000um.
