A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF CRYSTAL DEVICE PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a crystal oscillator package is provided to improve the reliability of product by eliminating the thermal damage affecting the inside of a product. CONSTITUTION: A constant size cavity, which is opened on the top, is formed in a base. A main body with a crystal piece(114) is provided on the base. A lead(120) is loaded on the upper end of the main body. The lead and the main body are welded by applying pressure and an ultrasonic wave to the lead for sealing the cavity. A welding structure(150) is loaded on the main body before the step in which the lead loads. The welding structure is formed into a ring shaped pattern. The base is made of a metal, a ceramic, or a polymer.
