PURPOSE: A manhole having a waterproof function using a lever is provided to prevent the infiltration of external water into a manhole by employing an elastic member between an inner cover and a support. CONSTITUTION: A manhole having a waterproof function comprises a manhole body(300), an outer cover(302), an inner cover(400), a lever(304), and an elastic member(402). The manhole body comprises a body(410), a first supporting part(412), and a second supporting part(414). The first and second supporting parts are extended in the direction crossing the body. The outer cover is placed on the first supporting part and the inner cover is placed on the second supporting part. The lever delivers a force to the elastic member through the inner cover, thereby pressing the elastic member against the second supporting part. The elastic member is formed along the outer edge of the inner cover to provide airtight sealing effect. |
