PURPOSE: A partial updating system for map data is provided to prevent a data error update using incompletely received data sets by transferring data received in a third data base to a second data base. CONSTITUTION: A partial updating system for map data comprises a first database(210) which stores whole map data, a second database(220) which stores first data partially updated in the whole map data, and a data processing unit(250) which stores the first data in the second database, searches for desired data from the second data base first, and searches for the desired data from the first data base if the data does not exist in the second data base. |
