PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device and a driving method thereof are provided to efficiently compensate for threshold voltage by increasing the sampling period of the threshold voltage. CONSTITUTION: A first transistor(T1) is connected to a gate wiring, a data line and a first node. A second transistor receives a power voltage and is connected to a second node. An organic light emitting diode receives current from the second transistor and emits light. A third transistor(T3) samples the threshold voltage of the second transistor in the second node. A fourth transistor is connected between the second transistor and the organic light emitting diode. A fifth transistor receives an initial voltage and is connected to the first node. A sixth transistor receives an initial voltage and is connected to the second node.
