The invention refers to a composition for people who want to improve their metabolic profile, who suffer from obesity or who do aerobic exercise and want to avoid the formation of lactic acid by hyperglycemias caused by the consumption of carbohydrates, or for people who are under a regime for reducing the percentage of fat with a carb-free regime and want to avoid the lack of energy, muscle pain or stress by the accumulation of keto bodies. The composition may result in a concentrate for preparing a carb-free beverage, which provides a maximum of 158.36 kcal per beverage litre, and also a low-calorie beverage which only provides 10.77 kcal/Lt. The purpose of the composition in a sportsman is to perform extenuating activities without accumulating lactic acid; in further people provides the possibility of being under a carb-free regime without suffering lack of energy; in people suffering from metabolic syndrome (Diabetes I and II) allow them to drink a beverage which will provide ener gy without consuming carbohydrates.
