MOTOR AND OPTICAL DISC DRIVE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A motor and an optical disc drive using the same are provided to enable an optical disk drive to directly fix the sleeve holder on upper surface of the base plate by using a base plate with a support plate. CONSTITUTION: At least one protrusion supporting unit is formed inside a base plate(50). A sleeve holder(20) includes a body part, an extension part, and a flange part. A sleeve(13) is fixed and coupled inside the body part. The extension part is projected along the outer circumference of the body part. The projection support unit is inserted inside the extension part of the sleeve holder. The sleeve holder is fixed and coupled in the base plate.
