摘要 PURPOSE: An advanced horizontal-in plane switching mode liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a pixel electrode or a common electrode to form a strong fringe field, thereby lowering the voltage for driving a liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: An advanced horizontal-in plane switching mode liquid crystal display device comprises the following units. A lower plate(300) faces an upper plate(328). A gate line and a data line are vertically arranged on the lower plate to define a pixel area on the lower plate. A thin film transistor is formed on a part where the gate line crosses the data line. A first electrode is formed on the lower plate. An insulating film(314) is formed on the frontal surface of the plate with a first electrode and the thin film transistor. An uneven part is placed on the top of the insulating film. A second electrode is inclined along with the uneven part. A liquid crystal layer(318) is formed between the upper plate and the lower plate. The first electrode or the second electrode is connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor.
