Gearbox i.e. manually controlled gearbox, control system for motor vehicle, has single pull off spring to bring disengaging rod to its rest position and bring retractable arm to its normal position

The system has a secure high speed ratio disengaging system (40) including a retractable arm (80) i.e. swivel lever, that pivots between a normal position and a retracted position. The arm allows a disengaging rod (42) to pass from its rest position to an offset position and to occupy its rest position during disengaging of high speed ratio of a gearbox, in the normal and retracted positions, respectively. A single pull off spring (50) brings the disengaging rod to its rest position and brings the retractable arm to its normal position. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a manually controlled gearbox.
