NANO-NICKEL CORE, PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCING HEAT ENERGY, EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A CORE

The invention relates to a nano-nickel core, to a process for preparing the same, and to an installation equipped with such a core which produces thermal energy. According to the invention, the core consists of a support sponge with high thermal conductivity such as copper, nickel, iron, stainless steel, graphitic carbon, titanium carbide and similar, whereon there is applied a matrix of graphitic carbon with open pores, having a pore diameter in the range of 3...50 nm, which contains in the open meso-pores nickel nano-crystals, inside the open pores of the support sponge there being an alkaline metal such as sodium, potassium or an alloy thereof together with a catalyst system. The claimed process consists in the synthesis of a matrix made of graphitic carbon on the walls of cells with open porosity using as matrix with controlled architecture, a silicate or an aluminosilicate, the formed pores will be useful as matrix wherein there are deposited the nickel nano-crystals, and finally the open pores of the support sponge are filled with alkaline metal and with other components of the catalytic system. The installation equipped with one or several nano-nickel cores, as claimed by the invention, comprises a system for producing thermal energy, a system for preheating and triggering the reactions, a heat exchange system of thermal syphon type, whose evaporation-boiling area comprises a metal cylinder () made of copper or aluminium wherein there are dug some boiling channels (), with a heating resistor () of the heat producing vessel () closed with a cap (), a pipe () for hydrogen supply provided with a tap () a condensing-cooling area comprising a cupola () fixed on the cylinder () through the flange () a conduit () with a tap () and a worm () wherethrough the secondary cooling fluid circulates, and the system for thermal insulation and a shield for protection against radiation.
