PURPOSE: A reinforcing member for a socket-type concrete pipe is provided to reinforce the body and socket of a concrete pipe through a bridge. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing member for a socket-type concrete pipe comprises a body reinforcing member(11), a socket reinforcing member(12), a plurality of bridges(13), and a plurality of longitudinal reinforcing members(14). The body reinforcing member spirally winds a rectangular sectional plate to have a given pitch and the same radius and so that the long side of a section faces a radial direction. The socket reinforcing member spirally winds the rectangular sectional plate to have the same or smaller pitch to the body reinforcing member and a larger socket radius so that the long side of the section faces a radial direction.
