WIRELESS MONITORING SYSTEM FOR LIGHTNING

PURPOSE: A wireless lightning stroke monitoring system is provided to rapidly recognize an accident by monitoring the accident of lightning stroke at a remote control center in real time. CONSTITUTION: A lightning stroke related application is loaded on monitoring computers(310, 320). The monitoring computer transmits a text message to an administrator at a power transmission tower when a lightning stroke occurs. A substation control center includes management database servers(210, 220) and a monitoring computer. Wireless lightning stroke monitoring apparatuses(610-650) are formed in each power transmission tower. The wireless lightning stroke monitoring apparatus respectively has unique identifiers.
