PURPOSE: A roll member is provided to prevent the un-uniformed generation of the image density by using a polysulfide polymer for forming an elastic layer. CONSTITUTION: A roll member(10) comprises a core, and an elastic layer formed with a vulcanized substance of a rubber composition. The rubber composition contains the following: a polysulfide polymer including a structural unit selected from -(C2H4OCH2OC2H4-Sx)- or -(CH2CH(OH)CH2-Sx)-, or a thiol group marked with C2H4OCH2OC2H4-SH and -CH2CH(OH)CH2-SH at the end; and an flexible material having a double bond except for the polysulfide polymer.
