ELECTRON DONATING POLYMER AND ORGANIC SOLAR CELL INCLUDING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electron donating polymer and an organic solar battery including thereof are provided to improve the short circuit current density and the optical absorption rate of the battery. CONSTITUTION: An electron donating polymer contains the following: a recurring unit-A including a compound selected from the group consisting of a recurring unit marked with chemical formula 1, a recurring unit marked with chemical formula 2, and their combination; and a recurring unit-B marked with chemical formula 3. An organic solar battery includes an anode and a cathode facing each other, and a photoactive layer including an electron donor and an electron acceptor. The electron donor contains the electron donating polymer.
