The tool (1) has a gripping handle (2) whose ends (3, 4) comprise respective active cleaning zones (3a, 4a) that eliminate herb residues, obtained from a lawn mower, agglomerated on an inner wall of a protection casing. One of the cleaning zones is constituted by rake shaped curved teeth (6) that are arranged on a straight or curved line. The cleaning zones are made of rigid, plastic or metal material. The cleaning zone is folded along an angle to permit the application of the teeth perpendicular to a bottom of the casing.
