The mechanism (100) has a retaining unit (20) pivotingly cooperating with a cage (10) to enable or prevent the pivoting movement of the cage when the retaining unit is moved or not moved. An arresting unit (30) cooperates with the retaining unit for enabling or preventing pivoting movement of the retaining unit based on their angular position. The arresting unit has a star (31) including trajectory interfering with another trajectory of a whip (21) for pivoting the cage and arresting the cage when the star releases the whip and not releases the whip, respectively.
