ASPHALT USING WARM-MIX ASPHALT ADDITIVE CONTAINING ANTI-STRIPPING EFFECTS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WARM-MIX ASPHALT MIXTURE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Warm-mix asphalt using a warm-mix additive of anti-stripping characteristic and a method for manufacturing an warm-mix asphalt mixture using the same are provided to improve the water sensitivity of the warm-mix asphalt and to lower a temperature for manufacturing and constructing an asphalt mixture. CONSTITUTION: Warm-mix asphalt includes 1-8 weight% of a warm-mix additive and 92-99 weight% of asphalt. The warm-mix additive includes anti-stripping characteristic. The warm-mix additive includes 100 parts by weight polyethylene wax, 10-60 parts by weight of modified fatty acid, and 10-60 parts by weight of viscosity modifier. A method for manufacturing the modified fatty acid is molten with C12 to C24 fatty acid with one or more selected from calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc hydroxide, and zinc oxide.
