PURPOSE: A system and a method for collecting an updated document are provided to reduce the load of a site by a random crawling by collecting the updated document through the identification information. CONSTITUTION: An identification information receiving unit(210) receives the identification information of the updated document from a site. A collecting request transmitting unit(220) transmits the collecting request of the document to the site according to the identification information. An update information collecting unit(230) collects the update information of the document from a site corresponding to the collecting request of the document. A search result providing unit(240) provides the extracted search result from the update information of the document to the site corresponding to the search request received from the site. The identification receiving unit receives the identification information including link information related to the document.
