Provided is a radiation detector, and a manufacturing method for radiation detectors that increases product yield in the manufacturing process. The manufacturing method for radiation detectors includes: a substrate-preparation step for preparing a substrate having a wiring pattern and first connection members disposed on the surface of the wiring pattern; a coating step for partially coating second connection members onto the substrate; and a provisional securing step for temporarily securing semiconductor elements to a substrate by disposing radiation-detecting semiconductor elements on the substrate via the second connection members, and hardening the second connection members.
