The garment (100) has a knitted leg garment part (102) with en edge region (104) that comprises a bonded joint. A section (115) of the edge region of the leg garment part forms a collar (117) of the leg garment part, where the section is arranged with the bonded joint. The edge region of the leg garment part is glued together by an adhesive band (112). The adhesive band is made of flexible material, and a part of the edge region is tilted. A tilted region of the edge region is glued with a non-tilting region of the edge region. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a leg garment.
