PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by integrating a light guide plate with a light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A bottom frame(10) includes a bottom surface and a side wall. A module substrate(20) is inserted into a substrate groove. One or more module substrates support a light emitting diode(21). The light emitting diode is installed at a liquid crystal panel(60) and plural light emitting areas. The light guide plate(30) of an integrated type is adhered with a floor side. The light guide plate covers plural light emitting diodes. The light guide plate is arranged at the light emitting area.
