Disclosed is a method for producing a probe holder (3) provided with: an insulating holder member (31) that holds a plurality of contact probes (2) that perform input/output of signals from/to a circuit structure; and a substrate (32) that has a hollow section (321) that can be fitted with a the holder member (31). The method contains: a first adhering step wherein an insulating member (30) that is the starting material of the holder member (31) is fitted in the hollow section (321) that the substrate (32) has, and an adhesive agent (G) is applied to the nearby region that includes the boundary at the surface of the substrate (32) and the holder member (31), adhering both members; and a holder-hole formation step wherein a plurality of holder holes (311) that penetrate the holder member (31) are formed that individually house a plurality of contact probes (2).
