SYSTEM AND THE METHOD FOR REDUCING FE AND MN IN THE WATER BY INJECTING OXYGEN SATURATED WATER INTO THE UNDERGROUND RIVERBED

PURPOSE: A system and a method for reducing iron and manganese using oxygen saturated water are provided to oxidize and eliminate iron and manganese from underground water or filtered water by pressurized-injecting oxygen saturated water. CONSTITUTION: A system for reducing iron and manganese reduces the concentration of iron and manganese dissolved in a soil layer. A plurality of injection wells(110) is installed around a vertical collecting well(106). Oxygen saturated water is pressurized-injected into the injection wells using a pump. An underground aquifer is converted into an oxidized state. The iron and the manganese are oxidized and eliminated from underground water or filtered water which is collected through the underground aquifer.
