<p>A power modulator and a power modulating method. The power modulator includes isolating sources (401, 402, 403), amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) and a controller (415). Numbers of the isolating sources (401, 402, 403) and the amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) are both N (N>1), wherein each isolating source (401, 402, 403) is connected with a corresponding amplitude generating circuit (407, 408, 409), and output terminals of the amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) are connected in series. The controller (415) is connected with every amplitude generating circuit (407, 408, 409). The isolating sources (401, 402, 403) output reference supply signals to the amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409). The controller (415) receives a reference signal to be tracked (416), determines amplitudes of the output electrical signals of the amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) according to the amplitude of the reference signal to be tracked (416), and transmits control signals to every amplitude generating circuit (407, 408, 409). The amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) adopt the reference supply signals after receiving the control signals, and output electrical signals according to the control signals, wherein output voltages of the amplitude generating circuits (407, 408, 409) are connected in series. The power modulator can realize higher output signal tracking precision via less input powers, and increase conversion efficiency.</p> |
