The bed has a covering i.e. fabric, held at a frame (2) as couch surface, where size of the frame is adjustable. The frame has shape of a rectangle, where length of opposite sides (4-7) of the frame is adjustable. The frame has pipes (8, 9, 11, 12) provided on the opposite sides and bars (10, 13) movably guided into the pipes and fixable in the pipes by screws (16). A threaded bore is provided in the bars, where the screw is engaged in the bore and guided through a hole in the pipe. The covering is air-permeable and/or liquid-permeable in a region of the couch surface.
