The present invention relates to a micro-speaker of an amplifier-mounting type which is used in portable apparatuses and the like and in which an amplifier is mounted. The disclosed invention is a micro-speaker comprising a voice coil which moves up and down; suspension which vibrates up and down due to the movement of the voice coil and transmits an audio signal to the voice coil, and a diaphragm which vibrates due to the up-and-down vibration of the suspension; wherein an amplifier for amplifying the audio signal transmitted to the voice coil is mounted on a damper plate of the suspension or on the diaphragm. Because the amplifier is mounted on the suspension or the diaphragm in this way, there is no need for a separate signal lead to connect the speaker and amplifier and thus it is possible to prevent, inter alia, signal-wire-induced reduction in acoustic signal transmission efficiency, increased EMI noise and increased distortion.
