The invention relates to an association that comprises a salt of bis- thiazolium, a compound of the formula (VI) or a precursor thereof, and artemisinin or a derivative thereof. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition that comprises at least one salt of bis- thiazolium, a compound of the formula (VI) or a precursor thereof, and artemisinin or a derivative thereof. The invention further relates to the use of this combination for preparing a drug for treating or preventing acute malaria. The invention ultimately relates to a kit for treating or preventing acute malaria.
