PURPOSE: A control method of an auto focus system is provided to rapidly move a focus lens by forming a section point as LUT(Look UP Table). CONSTITUTION: A main processor returns the coordinates of a focus motor to a home position or maintains the coordinates of the focus motor when a system is booted or power is initially applied(S100). If an image is displaced, a main processor moves a zoom lens to a designated position(S200). The main processor moves the focus lens to a designated position(S300). The main processor performs the focus search of the center of the screen with regard to the moved position(S400).
