The disclosed access-point terminal (1) is provided with: a wireless communication interface (11) that transmits and receives wireless signals; a device-information acquisition unit (10) that acquires, via the wireless communication interface (11), supported-frequency information for identifying one or more frequency bands over which wireless communication terminals can communicate wirelessly; and a connection-information distribution unit (12) that selects one of the one or more frequency bands indicated by the supported-frequency information acquired by the device-information acquisition unit (10) and uses the wireless communication interface (11) to distribute, to the wireless communication terminals, connection information for having said wireless communication terminals communicate wirelessly over the selected frequency band.
