Disclosed is a variable-displacement swash-plate compressor wherein the stroke of a piston is changed by controlling the pressure in a crank chamber (6). As much as possible, a lubricating oil in a refrigerant gas is prevented from circulating outside the compressor. Some of a discharged refrigerant gas in a discharge chamber (22) is inputted into the crank chamber (6) via a connecting passage (25 (25a, 25b)) and a control valve (27) while being outputted from the crank chamber (6) to an intake chamber (21) via a second connecting passage (26) and an orifice (28). The balance between the amount inputted and the amount outputted controls the pressure in the crank chamber (6). An oil-storage chamber (30) formed by expansion downstream of the control valve (27) in the first connecting passage (25) separates out the aforementioned oil and stores the separated-out oil. Also, an oil-return passage (31) that returns the oil stored in the oil-storage chamber to the crank chamber (6) is formed from the oil-storage chamber (30) to the crank chamber (6), separately from the first connecting passage (25b).
