Disclosed is a fuel cell system which is provided with: a first power generation module, which has a power generation section that includes a catalyst, an anode-side non power generation section in contact with the power generation section, and a cathode-side non power generation section that is disposed on the side opposite to the anode-side non power generation section with the power generation section therebetween; at least one second power generation module adjacent to the first power generation module; a current adjusting circuit connected parallel to each of the power generation modules; and a current control section wherein a current adjusting section connected parallel to the first power generation module increases a current flowing in the first direction from the anode-side non power generation section to the cathode side non power generation section in the case where a cell voltage, i.e., a voltage between the anode-side non power generation section and the cathode-side non power generation section, is equivalent to or lower than a first predetermined voltage that is a negative voltage. |
