The component has a drive shaft whose shaft portion is provided in a hole for propulsion of a high pressure pump. The hole comprises an inner circumference surface in which a groove is formed. The groove ends at a front surface of the component, where the front surface faces an inner space of the pump. A socket (6) with an outer circumference surface (7) is inserted into the hole, where another groove (8) is formed in the circumference surface. The latter groove ends at one of front surfaces (9) of the socket. The front surface of the socket faces the inner space of the pump.
