<p>The pump has two gear wheels (3, 4) arranged in a housing (1), and an adjustor provided for the gear wheels. A control piston (17) is arranged in a stepped bore (18). A regulating spring (31) is acted on the control piston and arranged in a spring chamber formed by the stepped bore. The stepped bore is formed as a through-hole of the housing and closed at a side by a cover (9). The spring chamber is closed by a collet. The control piston comprises a longitudinal bore (24) and a transverse bore (23) connected with the longitudinal bore.</p>
