PURPOSE: A camera with an auto voice recognition/search module and a method for automatically recognizing and searching a voice using the same are provided to search image data or video data by using voice data or text data. CONSTITUTION: An AF(Auto Focusing) module(11) performs an auto focusing function according to the on of a camera photographing mode. After the auto focusing function is performed, a voice input module(13) generates an input voice signal to voice data. A photographing module(15) photographs a designated image with the auto focusing function. A photographing module generates image data or video data. A matching storage module(17) matches the voice data with the image data or video data.
