The part has two preformed form regions (1a, 1b) provided with closure elements (3) e.g. hook eyelets, for connecting the part around a component to be enclosed. A metal sheet or a metal foil is provided on an outer side of the part. The adjacent form regions are pivotably connected with one another over a connection region (2) such that the form regions are partially brought together to a system surface in a region of the closure elements opposite to the connection region. The form regions comprise a layer made of material such as inorganic fiber, artificial mineral or glass fiber.
