<p>The device has a swellable material e.g. water soluble polymer or original oily polymer, provided in a free-flowing medium e.g. aqueous medium or oil medium, and a mechanical unit i.e. fastening element (2), fixing the device at a location. The swellable material is integrated into the device by mechanically stable holders, and a functional element is formed of the holders and the swellable material. A metal plate (1) is provided with approximate diameter of a pipe to be locked, and metallic pipes (3) are attached at right angle. A plastic cylinder (4) is provided in the metallic pipes. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing lines and/or holes.</p> |
