<p>The method involves loading of decorative element (12) into a mold (10), where one of the mold halves (13) is locally transparent. A slit-shaped cavity (17) is formed on the coated surface of the decorative element. The cavity is filled by an ultraviolet-curable lacquer (18). The lacquer is exposed to ultraviolet light through the transparent mold half. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a decorative element with a veneer layer; and (2) a mold with a glass pane made of silicone layer.</p> |
