The method involves determining distance between a spring contact surface (20) and a friction surface (18) in relation to design thickness of a plate spring arrangement. The friction surface is provided for attachment at a friction lining of a clutch (10). The spring contact surface is formed for attachment of the plate spring arrangement to attach a pressing plate to a clutch component e.g. clutch housing (4), a clutch cover or a mutual push plate. The plate spring arrangement is provided with tangential plate springs. An independent claim is also included for a clutch comprising a pressing plate.
