A hot adhesive formulation is described destined for bonding and adhering plastic materials lacking porosity and surface polarity, such as polypropylene and similar plastics, without requiring prior treatment of the surface to be adhered. The formulation consists essentially of a combination based on amorphous polyolefins, other polymers to confer on the formulation properties of viscosity, flexibility, cohesion and mechanical strength, tackifying resins to provide adhesiveness, waxes to permit regulation of the speed of solidification of the adhesive, and other additives such as plasticisers and antioxidants, together with an additive to promote adhesion of the malonic acid type. |
