PURPOSE: A composite sensing device and a sensing method using composite sensor, and a touch pad device using the same are provided to increase the inconvenience of a user by having a fingerprint sensor and a touch pad sensor in a limited space at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A pad unit(10) includes a first sensing area(100) for sensing a fingerprint and a second sensing area(110) for sensing a touch. A controller generates a control signal according to a sensing result which is sensed by the first and second sensing area. The controller determines the movement of a user by determining the movement amount for unit time based on at least one among the operation of the user which is sensed in the first and second sensing area. The controller determines the movement of the user by combining the sensing result in the first and second sensing area if the movement of the user is sensed in the second sensing area.
