A STRIKING APPARATUS FOR ABLATING VASCULAR CHRONIC TOTAL OCCLUSION

PURPOSE: A shock transfer device for eliminating a chronic complete stenosis lesion is provided to make a shock tip to project from a catheter, thereby applying a shock to the surface of a lesion. CONSTITUTION: A catheter(100) is inserted into a blood vessel. A shock tip(200) is formed on the frontal end of the catheter. The shock tip projects toward the frontal side of the catheter through a discharging hole(112). The shock tip strikes the surface of a lesion. An elastic unit makes the shock tip to project using self-elasticity. A wire(400) is inserted into the catheter. One end of the wire is connected to the rear end of the shock tip. The other end of the wire is expanded.
