PURPOSE: A device for inspecting the thickness of the reaction plate of a clutch for automatic transmission is provided to enable accurate thickness measuring and accurate defective-product recognizing and minimize excessive generation of defective products. CONSTITUTION: A device for inspecting the thickness of the reaction plate of a clutch for automatic transmission comprises an inspecting unit(30), a picking unit(50), and a controller(70). The inspecting unit comprises thickness measuring sensors(43,44). The thickness measuring sensors measures the thickness of the reaction plate(6) of a shape-processed clutch, rotating the reaction plate of the clutch, when the reaction plate is automatically supplied one by one. The picking unit comprises a defective-products recognizing unit(52). The defective-products recognizing unit takes only defective products amongst the reaction plates passed the inspecting unit.
