Provided are a reference signal transmitting method, a mobile terminal device, and a wireless base station device wherein it is possible to suppress the influence on a PDCCH even when the transmission of a reference signal for measuring the aperiodic channel quality is controlled. In relation to a mobile terminal device which performs wireless communication in a system band containing a plurality of component carriers, the downlink control information, which corresponds to each component carrier and which is set with the transmission control information of a reference signal for measuring the channel quality, is consolidated, allocated and sent to the downlink control channel of a specific component carrier. When the mobile terminal device controls the transmission of the reference signal for measuring the channel quality on the basis of the transmission control information of the reference signal for measuring the channel quality contained in the received downlink control information, the downlink control information corresponding to each component carrier contains the bit field in which the identifier information of the component carriers is set, and sets the transmission control information of the reference signal for measuring the channel quality to the bit field.
