The system has multiple acceleration sensors (10) forming a spatial distributed sensor network (12), and connected with a data acquisition unit (13). A data profile is formed based on height, space direction and time duration of measurement signals and a transferred position of each acceleration sensor. An evaluation unit (14) determines a type and an extent of a load or deformation based on entered technical mechanical properties of individual components (9) or entire components, so that source of the load is classified by the evaluation unit. The load is located based on the classification.
