<p>Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a carbon material for rubber reinforcement characterized by comprising a step of mixing carbide (A) obtained by thermal decomposition or incomplete combustion of polymer waste and carbon black (B). The mixing mass ratio (A/B) of the carbide (A) and carbon black (B) is preferably within the range of 10/90 to 50/50. The carbide (A) and carbon black (B) are preferably mixed after they have been granulated independently.</p>
