<p>The sensor (3) has an outer surface (5) arranged with a light entrance window (8). A photo sensor measures solar light intensity, where the photo sensor is arranged behind the window. A detector device detects precipitation and/or a resulting deposit on the outer surface. The detector device is arranged with an array (9) of capacitive sensors (10) to generate a set of signals based on a sensed condition, where the detector device compares the signals from the individual sensors to each other. The array of sensors is arranged behind one of the outer surface and a comparison surface.
