PURPOSE: An aerogel-foam composite having a polymer aerogel matrix is provided to prevent the breaking of pores by the shrinkage of the composite during a producing process. CONSTITUTION: An aerogel-foam composite(S15) contains an open-cell foam and an aerogel matrix polymer filed in the open-cell foam. The aerogel-foam composite has the compressive strength greater than 15Mpa. The open-cell foam has the porosity greater than 90%, and contains a polymer selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, polyvinylchloride, polycarbonate, polyester, polymethyl (meth)acrylate, polyurea, polyether, polyisocyanurate, and their combinations. |
