<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving device and a display device, wherein power saving is performed, while heating is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A display driving device is a display driving device driving a display panel having source lines for each pixel column, and includes: a first switch sw1 corresponding to each source line; a second source line corresponding to each source line; an amplifier part 52 driving a pixel signal in each source line via the second switch; an external power source 48 outputting intermediate voltage being voltage between the maximum voltage and the minimum voltage of the pixel signal to an intermediate voltage line; and a control circuit 47 which controls ON and OFF of the first switch group and the second switch group.
