PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission control device for suppressing improper shift due to an erroneous operation. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S100) of determining whether the execution of down-shift is prohibited or not when the down-shift is required (YES in S100), and a step (S104) of not executing the down-shift when the execution of the down-shift is prohibited (YES in S102) because a time for continuously selecting a (D) position is a predetermined time or shorter and of executing the down-shift when the execution of the down-shift is not prohibited (NO in S102).
