PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of necessary capacity of ROM by compressing programs while suppressing elongation of the start-up time of an electronic apparatus and deterioration of response thereof. SOLUTION: A ROM 302 of a digital camera holds compressed modules 801, 802, and 804 compressed in unit of relocatable object as control programs. And the ROM 302 holds an initialization program 901, a SWI extension handler 902, and an entry address table 702. When the power supply of the digital camera is turned on, a CPU transfers the SWI extension handler 902 to a RAM 303, and further arranges a plurality of SWI instructions in the RAM 303 by referring to an entry address table 702. When the CPU executes a control program, if the program to be executed is not transferred to the RAM 303, the SWI extension handler 902 is called and the program to be executed is transferred to the RAM 303.
